About the Project

Edulever is a Resource and Consulting outfit for the social development sector with a focus on Education and Vocational Training. In collaboration with the CSR bodies of various companies, they train students from the rural and economically disadvantaged communities in soft skills, vocational training and life skills. The content for this training is prepared in- house. Currently, with the smartphone penetration and in a bid to be more sustainably responsible, Edulever is planning to make the content accessible through smartphones. Before moving onto development and check the feasibility of this concept, we were asked to design a prototype with them that is to be tested with their trainers.

Our Approach

This app served as a cue for the trainers to move through the various parts of the class. After talking to few teachers, we got to know, that the most common concern while using mobiles for teaching is to ensure that teacher remains engaged with the students more than the mobile. Legibility and hierarchy of content were also prime concerns. Factoring all these inputs together, we designed a concept app for a single English Speaking Module.
